Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers for wherever your Astrarium journey takes you.

1. About Astrarium

What Astrarium is, who it brings together, and where the adventure begins.

Astrarium helps friends, partners, and teams turn truth or dare into a night worth remembering. Choose a playlist, gather in a lobby, and discover where each challenge takes the room.

Private sessions, community playlists, profiles, and light-hearted competition keep everyone connected without getting in the way of the moment.

Astrarium is for adults looking for a playful, social adventure — couples, friends, teams, and anyone curious about where the next challenge might lead.

You need to be 18 or older. Some playlists and challenges are marked NSFW, so every group can choose the experience that feels right for them.

You can join, shape your profile, play sessions, and create challenges without paying to begin. Optional premium experiences may appear as Astrarium grows, while the heart of the adventure stays open.

You can play in your browser or explore the mobile app when it is available for your device. Sessions, chat, and notifications stay connected wherever the adventure finds you.

You can also add Astrarium to your home screen for an easy return to the lobby.

2. Getting Started

Begin your journey, meet the community, and find your next challenge.

Choose Join the party, create your account, and verify your email. If a friend shared an invite code, you can add it while registering.

Give your profile a display name, photo, and a little personality. Then explore the community, invite your people, or begin your first session.

It depends on how the community is welcoming new players. When invites are enabled, a friend can share a code from their account. When registration is open, you can begin without one.

An invite connects you with your people from the start, making it easier to discover the same lobbies and adventures together.

Your profile is how you introduce yourself to the community — your display name, photo, bio, and the personality you bring to each moment. It stays separate from your private login details.

Other players can discover your profile, connect with you, invite you to teams, and recognise you across sessions and leaderboards.

Explore Play, begin or join a session, choose a playlist, and invite your people. Once the lobby feels ready, the first challenge can begin.

Curious about the possibilities? Browse community playlists and challenges first, then shape a mix of your own whenever inspiration strikes.

3. Playing

Sessions, lobbies, truths, dares, and the moments that unfold between them.

A session is a live lobby where people gather around a playlist and discover each challenge together. Responses, scores, and reactions unfold as the game moves around the room.

Keep a session private for your circle or invite more people into the moment. When the game ends, the stories stay with you while scores and highlights live on through profiles and leaderboards.

Truths invite an answer — perhaps a confession, preference, or story. Dares invite action — something to try in the room or share with the group.

Playlists weave both together so the night keeps moving. When you create a challenge, you choose how gentle, surprising, or spicy the invitation feels.

Each playlist can shape scoring through point limits, multipliers, and the way the group responds. Leaderboards celebrate players and teams whose adventures keep adding up.

The competition adds a spark. The moments everyone remembers are still the real reward.

Absolutely. Begin a private session, invite your partner, and discover a playlist that fits the moment — soft and flirty, curious, or ready for a bolder adventure.

Many playlists welcome two players, so a memorable night never needs a crowd.

Anyone can step away when they need to. The lobby continues for the people still sharing the moment, without losing the whole journey.

Session settings show how your lobby welcomes new arrivals and handles people leaving along the way.

4. Playlists & Challenges

The truths, dares, and mixes that give every session its own story.

A playlist is a collection of challenges shaped around a particular mood or adventure. It brings together the category, audience, privacy, and scoring choices for the session.

Explore playlists created by the community or shape your own under My Playlists. When one feels right, bring it into a session and see where it leads.

A challenge is one invitation to share a truth or say yes to a dare. Creators give each one a theme, tags, and a place in the wider community.

Keep a challenge private for your circle or share it so other players can discover it and weave it into their own playlists.

Yes. Explore My Challenges to create truths and dares, then bring them together under My Playlists. Add tags, choose who can see them, and mark adult content NSFW.

The most memorable challenges feel personal. Think about your people, the stories they might share, and the moments you hope the room will remember.

NSFW identifies content that is adult, spicy, or not right for every room. You stay in control of whether you create, explore, or play NSFW playlists and challenges.

The label is an invitation to make a clear choice together. If adult content is missing the label, you can report it so others can choose with confidence too.

5. Teams & Social

Friends, teams, and the connections that turn a game into a shared story.

A team is your crew — a shared identity with a name, players, and a place to discover adventures together. Begin one, invite people you trust, and bring the team into sessions as a unit.

Along the way, teams can climb leaderboards and become part of the Astrarium community story.

From a player's profile, you can follow them, save them as a favourite, or request the kind of connection that fits how you know each other. Connections make shared lobbies, teams, and future adventures easier to find.

You stay in control. Requests can be cancelled, connections can change, and blocking is always available when a connection no longer feels right.

Chat helps players stay connected between adventures, while session chat keeps the room together as each challenge unfolds.

Every conversation still depends on respect. Privacy choices, blocks, consent, and personal boundaries always come first.

Leaderboards celebrate the points and memorable runs collected by players and teams over time. Explore the climb if friendly competition adds to your adventure, or simply enjoy the dares if the shared moment matters more.

6. Privacy & Safety

Staying in control, respecting boundaries, and protecting the community.

Your account privacy settings shape who can discover your profile and how you appear to others. Playlists, challenges, and teams also have their own visibility choices.

You can review these settings whenever you like. Privacy is personal, and changing your mind is always okay.

Open the player's profile and choose Block. Blocking limits how they can interact with you and helps create distance immediately.

You can review blocked players from your account settings and choose to unblock someone later.

Choose Report on the profile, challenge, playlist, or content that concerns you. Select the reason and add a short note when more context would help.

Moderators review reports and respond when something breaks the rules. Clear reports help protect the whole community.

7. Account

Sign-in, preferences, and keeping your place in the community secure.

Choose Forgot your password? on the login page. We'll send a reset link to the email connected to your account.

If it has not arrived after a few minutes, explore your spam folder and check that you entered the right email address.

Open Account → Settings to update your email, password, notifications, privacy, and security choices.

When you change your email, follow the verification link we send so your account stays connected to you.

Yes. Account settings include a way to delete your account when you are ready to leave Astrarium.

Deletion is permanent. Save anything you want to remember before continuing. If you only need some space, logging out or changing your privacy settings may be a better fit.

Notifications can keep you connected to invites, session updates, social requests, and moderation messages. Choose what feels useful under your account notification preferences.

You are always in control of the alerts you receive and can change them as your journey changes.
